The cafe exists as a community platform for social exchange alongside serving a simple, wholesome vegetarian menu in Glasgow’s city centre. We host an open-source events programme which is supported by the success and profits of the cafe and we also take on volunteers for work-experience. We hope to provide an inclusive community space that is adaptable and accessible whilst responding to the needs of the communities in the Garnethill area and beyond.

Within the cafe we host a local makers shop, an eco/refill shop, an independent poetry bookshop and multiple musical instruments including a piano from Glasgow Piano City. The space has been used for exhibitions, workshops, classes, book launches, playgroups and frequently as an informal meeting space. For more information or to send us a proposal form ~ explore our events page. Anyone can apply to use the space, all welcome!

Eco Shop The Project Cafe is host to a new shop offering environmentally friendly products for your bathroom, kitchen and body! These are products that we use in the cafe and find them excellent, gentle on our skin, lovely smelling and very good price when you use refill. We have shampoo and conditioner, body bars, plenty of products for women's cycles, alongside stainless steel straws, bamboo cutlery and the very popular loofah washing up cloths. Come on by to see what we have, take a stand against climate change, refill your old bottles and shop as sustainably as you can...!
